Project Overview

Norlab was entrusted with the development of a functional and resilient laboratory space for the Espoch Laboratory, designed to support academic activities and daily laboratory operations. The project included the installation of Phenolic Benchtops, custom Wood Cabinetry, ergonomic Laboratory Chairs, and strategically placed Eye Wash Station units. Each element was selected to ensure durability, comfort, and safety within a dynamic learning environment. Through a well-structured execution, the Espoch Laboratory was transformed into a modern and efficient workspace that promotes productivity and reliable performance.

The Specific Need

The Espoch Laboratory required a comprehensive upgrade to address limitations affecting both usability and safety. Existing work surfaces showed signs of wear due to continuous use, reducing their effectiveness over time. Storage solutions were not optimized, making it difficult to maintain order and accessibility within the laboratory. Additionally, seating arrangements did not provide adequate support for extended sessions, impacting user comfort. Emergency response infrastructure was also insufficient, increasing potential risks during routine activities. The objective was to upgrade the Espoch Laboratory into a safer, more organized, and highly functional environment.

Norlab delivered a tailored solution specifically designed for the Espoch Laboratory. High-quality Phenolic Benchtops were installed to provide durable and chemical-resistant work surfaces suitable for intensive use. Custom Wood Cabinetry was integrated to enhance storage organization and improve accessibility. Ergonomic Laboratory Chairs were incorporated to support user comfort during extended working periods. Additionally, Eye Wash Station units were strategically installed to ensure immediate response in case of accidental exposure.
