Norlab was commissioned to deliver a complete laboratory fit-out for the Frontera Energy Laboratory, a facility focused on energy analysis, material testing, and precision-driven operational workflows. The project scope included the installation of high-performance Phenolic Benchtops, precision-engineered Metal Cabinetry, compliant Safety Storage Cabinets, and advanced Fume Hoods. Each component was carefully selected to ensure durability, safety, and efficiency within a demanding laboratory environment. Through a structured and well-coordinated implementation, the Frontera Energy Laboratory was transformed into a modern, high-functioning workspace capable of supporting complex technical processes with consistency and reliability.

The Specific Need

The Frontera Energy Laboratory required a comprehensive upgrade to address infrastructure limitations affecting safety and operational performance. Existing work surfaces were not resistant enough to withstand continuous exposure to chemicals and intensive daily use. Storage systems lacked proper organization and compliance for handling hazardous materials, increasing potential risks.
