Project Overview

Norlab was selected to deliver a complete laboratory fit-out for the Acciona Laboratory, a facility dedicated to technical analysis, environmental testing, and precision-driven workflows. This project included the installation of high-durability Phenolic Benchtops, custom-designed Wood Cabinetry, ergonomic Laboratory Chairs, and strategically placed Emergency Showers. Each element was carefully chosen to ensure long-term performance while meeting strict safety and operational standards. Through a structured execution process, the Acciona Laboratory was transformed into a modern and efficient workspace designed to support complex laboratory operations with reliability and consistency.

The Specific Need

The Acciona Laboratory required a comprehensive upgrade to resolve key limitations affecting safety, durability, and workflow efficiency. Existing work surfaces were not resistant enough to handle continuous exposure to chemicals and demanding daily use, leading to reduced functionality. Storage systems lacked proper organization, creating inefficiencies in handling materials and equipment. Additionally, laboratory personnel required improved ergonomic support to maintain productivity during extended tasks. Emergency preparedness was also insufficient, with limited access to immediate-response safety systems. The goal was to elevate the Acciona Laboratory into a controlled environment that prioritized both performance and user safety.

Our Solution

Norlab implemented a tailored solution designed specifically for the Acciona Laboratory. High-resistance Phenolic Benchtops were installed to provide durable, non-porous work surfaces capable of withstanding intensive laboratory activities. Custom Wood Cabinetry was integrated to enhance storage capacity and improve workflow organization. Ergonomic Laboratory Chairs were introduced to support user comfort and reduce fatigue during prolonged use. In addition, Emergency Showers were strategically positioned to ensure rapid response in case of chemical exposure. This cohesive approach ensured that every component contributed to the efficiency and safety of the Acciona Laboratory.
