Project Overview

Norlab was commissioned to enhance the operational capabilities of the Cafam Laboratory, a facility focused on sensitive biological and pharmaceutical research. This project involved the precise integration of high-quality Phenolic Benchtops, robust Metal Cabinets for secure storage, ergonomic Laboratory Chairs, and advanced Laminar Flow Cabinets. Each component was carefully selected to ensure a sterile and controlled environment, crucial for the integrity of research. The successful execution of this initiative has transformed the Cafam Laboratory into a highly efficient and contamination-controlled workspace, tailored for critical scientific investigations.

The Specific Need

The Cafam Laboratory required significant upgrades to meet stringent sterility and precision demands for its biological research. Existing workspaces lacked adequate contamination control, posing risks to experimental accuracy. There was a critical need for surfaces that could withstand frequent sterilization and chemical exposure, alongside secure, organized storage for sensitive reagents. Furthermore, comfortable seating was essential for researchers engaged in prolonged, intricate tasks. Most importantly, the laboratory needed specialized equipment to maintain aseptic conditions. The overall objective was to create a highly controlled and safe environment for the Cafam Laboratory

Our Solution

Norlab delivered a comprehensive solution for the Cafam Laboratory. We installed premium Phenolic Benchtops, known for their chemical resistance and ease of decontamination, providing an ideal sterile work surface. Complementing these, durable Metal Cabinets were integrated, offering secure and organized storage for valuable supplies. To support researchers, adjustable Laboratory Chairs were provided, promoting comfort during delicate procedures.
