Project Overview

Norlab was commissioned to execute a comprehensive laboratory fit-out for the Enel Laboratory, a facility focused on technical diagnostics, electrical testing, and precision-driven workflows. The project scope included the installation of high-performance Phenolic Benchtops, custom-built Wood Cabinetry, ergonomic Laboratory Chairs, and specialized EDS Workbenches. Each component was carefully selected to meet strict operational requirements while ensuring durability and efficiency. Through a structured and detail-oriented implementation, the Enel Laboratory was transformed into a modern, high-functioning environment designed to support complex analytical tasks with consistency and reliability.

The Specific Need

The Enel Laboratory required a significant upgrade to address operational inefficiencies and infrastructure limitations. Existing work surfaces were not suitable for handling sensitive equipment and repetitive technical procedures, reducing overall reliability. Storage systems lacked organization, making it difficult to manage tools and materials effectively. Additionally, personnel required ergonomic solutions to maintain productivity during extended technical operations. There was also a need for specialized workstations capable of supporting electrostatic-sensitive tasks. The objective was to elevate the Enel Laboratory into a controlled and efficient environment that could meet demanding technical and safety standards.

Our Solution

Norlab delivered a tailored solution to meet the specific demands of the Enel Laboratory. Durable Phenolic Benchtops were installed to provide non-porous, high-resistance surfaces suitable for technical applications. Custom Wood Cabinetry was integrated to improve storage organization and streamline workflow efficiency. Adjustable Laboratory Chairs were introduced to enhance comfort and support users during prolonged working periods. In addition, specialized EDS Workbenches were implemented to safely handle sensitive electronic components and prevent electrostatic discharge risks. This integrated approach ensured that every upgrade contributed to optimizing the performance of the Enel Laboratory.
