The Specific Need

The infrastructure at Hanna Laboratory presented challenges concerning the handling of corrosive reagents and volatile compounds. There was an urgent requirement for work surfaces that could withstand aggressive chemical exposure without compromise. Furthermore, enhanced ventilation and containment systems were paramount to protect researchers from hazardous fumes. Secure storage for chemicals and the provision of accessible emergency equipment were also priorities. Norlab engineered a tailored solution for the Hanna Laboratory. We installed premium Phenolic Benchtops, renowned for their chemical resistance, providing an ideal surface for experimental work. To complement these, robust Metal Cabinets were integrated, offering organized storage for various laboratory supplies. Critical to safety, state-of-the-art Fume Hoods were strategically placed to ensure efficient extraction of hazardous vapors. Additionally, a readily accessible Eye Washer Station unit was installed for immediate first aid.
