Norlab was selected to design and execute a high-efficiency clinical workspace for the Panama Clinic Laboratory, with a strong emphasis on safety, hygiene, and operational precision. The project included the installation of Phenolic Benchtops, durable Metal Cabinetry, advanced Fume Hoods, and strategically positioned Eye Wash Station units. Each component was carefully chosen to meet the demands of clinical environments while ensuring long-term resistance and reliability. Through a structured and detail-oriented process, the Panama Clinic Laboratory was transformed into a modern facility designed to support accurate diagnostics and safe daily operations.

The Specific Need

The Panama Clinic Laboratory required a complete upgrade to address critical limitations in both safety and workflow efficiency. Existing surfaces were not sufficiently resistant to constant chemical exposure, leading to deterioration and hygiene concerns. Storage systems lacked proper organization, making it difficult to maintain a clean and structured environment. Additionally, ventilation systems were not adequate for handling hazardous fumes generated during procedures. Emergency response capabilities were also limited, increasing potential risks. The objective was to elevate the Panama Clinic Laboratory into a controlled, compliant, and highly efficient clinical workspace.

Our Solution

Norlab delivered a customized solution tailored specifically to the Panama Clinic Laboratory. High-resistance Phenolic Benchtops were installed to provide non-porous, easy-to-clean surfaces ideal for clinical applications. Heavy-duty Metal Cabinetry was integrated to enhance storage organization while maintaining durability under continuous use. Advanced Fume Hoods were strategically installed to ensure proper ventilation and safe extraction of hazardous substances. In addition, Eye Wash Station units were incorporated to provide immediate response in case of accidental exposure.
